Gamble Sands is built around fun, width, and strategy rather than forced difficulty. The original Gamble Sands course and the newer Scarecrow course were both designed by David McLay Kidd, giving the resort two distinct 18-hole layouts with big fairways, firm ground game options, and dramatic Central Washington views. Add Quicksands, a playful 14-hole short course, and Cascade, a 100,000-square-foot putting course inspired by the Himalayas at St. Andrews, and you have one of the most complete pure-golf setups in the country. It is remote, relaxed, and perfect for groups that want golf all day without needing to leave the property.
Guests stay at The Inn at Gamble Sands, which offers River-View rooms overlooking the Cascade Putting Course and Columbia River, plus newer Golf-View double-king rooms overlooking Scarecrow. Lodging is modern, golf-focused, and located directly on property.
