Why visit
Cabot Wilds will offer a distinctly inland counterpart to the oceanfront golf for which Nova Scotia is best known. Jeff Mingay's course is being built around the River Philip, which will be visible or directly involved on nine holes, with wide corridors, natural contours, strategic angles and expressive greens intended to welcome a range of abilities. The setting mixes maple forest, former farmland, wild blueberry fields and remnants of gravel workings in the foothills of the Cobequid Mountains. Beyond golf, the announced resort plan includes regional dining, wellness, racquet sports, fishing, hiking, mountain biking and other four-season outdoor pursuits.

Guest accommodations and booking details have not yet been announced. Cabot has announced two-, four- and eight-bedroom residential cottages and homesites, while reporting indicates that a future lodge and additional guest rooms are planned for a later phase.

The planned clubhouse will combine a classic rural aesthetic with an indoor-outdoor restaurant and bar, living room, private dining room, social lawn, pro shop and locker rooms. Cabot has also announced a recreation pavilion, racquet facilities and a wellness component with restorative treatments, thermal therapies and quiet mindfulness spaces, although final operating details remain pending.
