The Nest is Cabot Cape Breton's 11-hole par-3 course, perched on the highest ground above Cabot Cliffs and designed by Rod Whitman and Dave Axland. Cabot Cape Breton is designed as a self-contained golf destination. The practice range sits at Cabot Cliffs, about five minutes from the Lodge, and golf shops operate at both full-length courses. Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs are walking-only, with bag-carrier and group caddies available by request. A complimentary shuttle loops between the Links and Cliffs properties, while on-site dining, tennis, guided activities and coastal trails give groups plenty to do between rounds.

Sydney/J.A. Douglas McCurdy Airport (YQY) is the closest major commercial airport and is about a two-hour drive from Cabot Cape Breton. Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ) is roughly 3.5 hours away and generally offers more flight options; private aviation can also use Port Hawkesbury Airport, about one hour from the resort. Cabot offers private ground transportation from all three airports and can arrange helicopter transfers.
